This vase is one of my Weather Vases series. It's the first of mine to explore thunderstorms. It's made of mulberry wood and holds a translucent blue acrylic tube that can hold water and it is large enough to work as a fresh flower vase. I heavily scorched the wood in the thundercloud area. The base is a blue puddle with large ripples. A bolt of lightning made of copper wire strikes down through the clouds.
