I just had to make another Eye Bowl. This one is larger and is probably closer to being a platter. It's either a shallow bowl or a deep platter. 😜

The piece is made from some gorgeous ambrosia maple. The pupil is crushed coal. Coloring was done by smearing watercolor paint straight from the tube into the wood. The entire eye is sealed in resin, while the rest of the piece is sealed with non-toxic tung oil.
