I'm very excited to announce that I've been accepted in the One of a Kind Holiday Show at the Merchandise Mart! I'll be in the emerging artist section.

The One of a Kind Holiday Show brings together over 600 exceptional artists, designers and makers with thousands of shoppers that love art and quality work. Now in its 24th year, this is Chicago’s premier holiday shopping destination for unique, handmade gifts for everyone on your list.

Each year, we take over an empty storefront in downtown Evanston and fill it to the brim with magical art handmade by local artists. This year we will be at 1710 Maple Avenue. 6311 Arts is an exciting new artspace in a gorgeous old building. They have been busy transforming the building and are finally ready to open.

I'll be participating in the Glenwood Avenue Arts Festival again this year! This is a fun fair in a fun neighborhood. I really like this event.

The Main Street Fair continues a decades-long Evanston tradition, bringing back the spirit of the beloved Custer Street Fair with a full day of local art, music, food, and community fun right in the heart of the city.

I'll have a booth in artist's alley!

My artifact I Wish You Could Join Me Up Here will be at the Evanston Art Center for the Evanston Made Members Show!

The exhibit will feature works by members of Evanston Made and is a multi-disciplinary display of art to include 2D and 3D works, sculpture, art installations, audio/video/film, jewelry, art installations and more and be displayed in the First Floor Gallery at Evanston Art Center.

There will be an opening reception on Saturday May 31, from 5 - 8 PM. You can RSVP for free here.

I am very excited to announce that two of my artifacts were selected to be in the Bridgeport Art Center's 13th Annual Art Competition! There will be an opening reception on Friday May 16, 7 - 10 pm. The show itself runs through June 27.

My two pieces are Fading and Building a Home.

Visit pop-up art galleries in stores all over Main, Dempster and Chicago Avenue! While you're there, try tastings of craft beverages made in Evanston, including those made right here on the Mile: Sketchbook beer, FEW Spirits and Kombucha Brava. All profits from the ticket sales benefit Evanston Made, an organization that brings visibility and opportunity to artists. Tickets to the event are $30 and can be purchased here.
